How's it going my gumdrops? How did you enjoy Independence Day? I guess you can say mine was okay. I mostly slept in on Tuesday, ate, and watched some fireworks outside our living room window.
Then, I showed my family animated fireworks on my tablet from YouTube. In fact, 2 of them were videos of animated fireworks I already shared on It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns.
Do you remember last year's Cartoon Sunday blog? It featured Masam Hashimoto's Stop Motion Animated video of him using fireworks beads, in order to illustrate fireworks.
In case you missed last year's festive Cartoon Sunday blog, click on the following blog link.
The other animated video I showed my family happened to be an animated fireworks video made by the Brainy Bricks Channel on YouTube. They were really creative with their way of illustrating animated fireworks.
Brainy Bricks made fireworks out of Legos to celebrate Independence Day. This exact same video was featured on my home page, until I changed the background scenery on Wednesday night.
On Wednesday night, I brought back the turquoise and teal background scenery with sun patterns. Using turquoise and teal seems fitting for the summer. It helps to give It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns a summer tone. Turquoise is also 1 of my favorite colors.
With the turquoise and teal, it makes you think about the water. Those of you, who love oceans, lakes, rivers, being underwater at beaches, and swimming pools should LOVE this current background scenery. I want it to have a calm and relaxing feeling, when viewers visit and read the content on It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns.
Even though my content is not always calm and relaxing, the scenery can STILL have that affect on those, who read my blogs and excerpts of my Short Horror Stories.
Speaking of the Horror page, I ran into glitches, while changing the color scheme. This means I have to wait, until Webs' tech support solves these somewhat minor problems.
If you are an adult subscriber to It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns, you already have permission to read excerpts of my Short Horror Stories. Last October, I published a blog explaining about my Short Horror Story, The Horrors Of Womanhood.
All those, who missed that blog last year can read it, HERE. I am already thinking about what I want to share for tomorrow's Song Saturday blog.
In the meantime, here is that video I mentioned earlier in today's blog regarding Brainy Bricks.
