How's it going my gumdrops? I failed to post another blog, earlier this week on It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns. I also failed to revise and archive more of my Xanga and Blogster entries.
On Wednesday, I went to my local walk in clinic and got a throat culture. The doctor tested me for strep throat. Luckily, my test results turned out negative. I only have a cold, however it feels like a cold and allergies. Since Thursday, I've been sneezing like crazy. In additon to my sneezing, I have sneezed snot rockets, coughed up my lungs, and I currently have a burning, itching sensation in both my eardrums and throat. I can't remember the last time I had a cold.
Normally, I have perennial sinuses, which are sometimes accompanied with allergies. Not to set anything in stone right now, but I'll try posting my home remedies for cold, allergies, and sinuses. That's if I have the time and energy, next week.
By me not feeling well, revising and archiving blogs on JournalHome.com have been delayed. I still have a ways to go with my other blogs. It feels like I've been working on a research paper or a novel, with the amount of revising and archiving I've been doing on my blogs. I really want to hurry and be finished with them badly because I want to leave Blogster. I'll still carry on the Blogster tradition of Song Saturday. All the while, I can't help reiterating, that I'm tired of the blowhards, drama kings, and queens on that site. That's along with bloggers ostracizing me because of generation gaps and having several opportunistic copycats. Some copycats love ripping off my ideas and not crediting me as their source.
Speaking of Blogster and Song Saturday, I thought I would do something a little different by sharing Depeche Mode's 1990 album, Violator. I was only 7 years old, when it released. Even though Violator is Depeche Mode's 7th album, it was the band's 1st album to reach #7 on the Billboard 200 in the United States and to sell 1 million copies that year. Without a doubt, Violator is still a popular album today. "Personal Jesus" and "Enjoy The Silence" have been the most covered songs off the album.
Johnny Cash, Gravity Kills, Marilyn Manson, Sammy Hagar, Jerry Williams, Lollipop Lust Kill, Tori Amos, Nina Hagen, Richard Cheese, David Gogo, Toy Division, Lisa Hanniagn, Arissa, Michael Anthony, and Moving Heroes have all covered "Personal Jesus." I've heard Gravity Kills and Marilyn Manson's covers of "Personal Jesus" and Manson's cover is the closest to the original version, that I've heard. It Dies Today, Lacuna Coil, Maritime, Susan Boyle, Failure, and finally Tori Amos have all covered Depeche Mode's "Enjoy The Silence" from their Violator album. With that being said, here's Depeche Mode's Violator album in its entirety. All the songs are listed below.

1) "World in My Eyes" – 4:26
2) "Sweetest Perfection" – 4:43
