How's it going my gumdrops? Looks like a number of you really enjoyed my latest Prince Tribute blog. As for the few complainers, I HIGHLY suggest re-reading or reading the About page on It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns, in case you haven't already.
It is understandable that everybody is NOT going to like everything published on here. However, this is MY personal website. I share a variety of content consisting of music, animaton, folklores, and more in these blogs. Also, I built a Horror page with excerpts of my own short stories for ONLY subscribers to read.
Throughout these last 3 years, I don't know how many times I have said this in my blogs. If you have disingenuous reasons for joining, UNSUBSCRIBE.
As much as I love having subscribers, it is tiring when the only purpose for people joining It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns is to nit pick the content, to score a free 5-minute promo of THEIR content only to unsubscribe because that's what THEY seriously wanted, poaching MY ideas to further their personal agenda(s) or to be petty, or all of the above.
Aside from dealing with some and their incessant opportunism and nit picking, there are other problems I have to worry about both on and offline. Writer's block is only 1 example.
I don't have writer's block as often as some writers do, since ideas are normally floating around in my head. Although, there are times when I do have problems thinking about what to publish for my next blogs.
This especially applies to contemplating what to add in a short story.
Eventually, I will return to working on my latest short story, which I have backburned on and off for these last 5 years. I keep backburning it because I spend so much time social networking, blogging, and managing this website. This does not include doing regular household chores and other activities I'm involved in both on and offline. By the time I want to start writing again, the day is already gone and my primetime shows are ready to come on.
Speaking of writer's block, I thought I would share another webisode of Neurotically Yours. It is often known as being called Foamy The Squirrel. Those of you, who have been subscribed to It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns for the last 3-4 years sometimes viewed my Cartoon Sunday blogs, which features the protagonist, Germaine and her pet squirrel, Foamy.
Earlier this year, I explained a little more about the protagonist, Germaine Endez in my Cartoon Sunday blog, Goth Chicks In Animation. In case you missed this blog, you can read it HERE.
Recently, I tried getting back in contact with the creator, Jonathan Ian Mathers but had no such luck. He is probably busy working on the next sketches of Foamy The Squirrel and other characters for his webisodes.
Today I share a classic webisode about Germaine struggling with writer's block for Cartoon Sunday.
