How's it going my gumdrops? This is the last Song Saturday of 2014! 2014 has been quite a year for me. I want to thank my remaining friends/subscribers from Xanga 1.0, Blogster, Adult Swim, and Horror-Punks.com for liking and sharing my blogs as well as supporting It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns. That includes giving me feedback on several other sites, besides the feedback in my comments section below. I really appreciate it. I understand that most are busy with more important matters both on and offline.
I've noticed more about myself and other people, regardless if I'm on or offline. Once I stumbled upon JournalHome.com in November, I happily shared my discovery with everyone in the Xanga Posts group page on facebook. Some haters with inferiority complexes assumed, that I shared my discovery because I wanted a pat on the back. I informed Xangans and several Blogsterians about JournalHome because I felt badly for past and present bloggers being discouraged from blogging. I hope more Xangans and Blogsterians feel motivated to blog again. Some Xangans dislike JournalHome.com whereas some are content with blogging again like our days on Xanga 1.0. I can't please everybody and I'm not trying to be praised. I've managed to give some bloggers hope again, which is something positive.
Before Thanksgiving and Christmas, I transferred some of my better Xanga and Blogster entries from 2013 over to JournalHome. I re-read and re-edited some of those blogs, during the process of transferring them. While I was re-reading and re-editing, I realized that I must start sharing more of my other views again. After Xanga shut down and re-launched as Xanga 2.0 last summer, my blogs on Blogster became too centered around my uncle, his company, and Song Saturday.
As much as I enjoy Blogster's fun concept of Song Saturday and most music genres, I have re-branded It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns a few times within this last year. I originally created It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns for my writing. No one should be worried. I will continue to do Song Saturday and Cartoon Sunday. However, I want to add more samples of some of my other short stories to my "Horror" page and post different blogs.
Earlier this week, I wanted to post a blog review about Christmas Slashers. With me being so busy doing last minute Christmas shopping, watching Christmas Slashers, etc. I didn't have enough time. Even though I changed the scenery yesterday morning for Valentine's Day and Christmas just ended for most of us, some have yet to celebrate Christmas. Orthodox Christians don't celebrate Christmas, until January 7, 2015. Therefore, I will try posting my Christmas Slasher review in a few more days; I'll try posting it sometime before the new year.
Aside from everything else, I would love more feedback about It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns. What do you want me to share more of? Would you like to see a little more of Rory The Guinea Pig? Do you want me to share more rants about societal issues and/people, who annoy me? Would you like more informative blogs about unusual phobias like my Coulrophobia entry? I have considered sharing a blog about Santaphobia. LOL! The more feedback I can get on today's Song Saturday blog, the better!
Speaking of Song Saturday, I have 1 of Slipknot's most recent songs from their album, 5: The Gray Chapter. Since Webs is having problems lately, I'm sharing the link to Slipknot's latest song, "Custer." I'm really loving "Custer." The song is supposedly about the band dealing with haters and online trolls. I have my share of those on facebook, Adult Swim, and Blogster. Anyway, here's Slipknot's "Custer" for the last Song Saturday of 2014.
