Cartoon Sunday: He-Man & She-Ra A Christmas Special

Posted by Anna H. on January 3, 2016 at 2:45 AM

How's it going my gumdrops? I meant to publish this Cartoon Sunday blog much sooner but I was sidetracked by the holidays and Christmas shopping, last month. As I said at least several times, I was hustling ass throughout December and wanted to make sure family and friends enjoyed their Christmas, along with being ABLE to have a Merry Christmas.

Even though the holidays are done for the rest of us, Orthodox Christians still have 4 more days, until they can celebrate Christmas. Depending on how things go, I will try updating previously published blogs on It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns, this week. I still have quite a few Christmas-themed blogs from the last 2 years. Some of them, I forgot that I published.

Currently, 318 blogs and counting exist on It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns alone. Throughout these last 10 years, this is the most that I have EVER blogged on ANY blogging site. Therefore, gumdrops and visitors have a plethora of blogs to listen, read, and watch on this website.

Sooner or later, I plan on getting back to writing "All Of Chastity's Men." I have never backburned any story like I have "All Of Chastity's Men." Although, it is much longer than my other stories. I'm not intending to make it a novel. However, anything is possible.

Over the last 1-3 years, I have already handwritten 20-something pages of "All Of Chastity's Men."

Writing 20-something pages is nothing compared to Advanced Composition and old research papers I wrote throughout 5th grade to college. It's really all a matter of time management and multi-tasking.

Moving along, it's Cartoon Sunday. Today we have the 1980's classic, He-Man & She-Ra: A Christmas Special. This Christmas Special originally aired in 1985. In December 1985, I was only 3 1/2 years old. That didn't stop me from watching He-Man and She-Ra or playing with my action figures.

I mostly had She-Ra and Catra action figures. I also had She-Ra's horse, Swift Wind and She-Ra's friends. I CANNOT even remember every character, since it has been about 25-30 years, since I last played with my action figures.

Damn, do I feel old! Anyway, I will just let you watch this '80s classic for today's Cartoon Sunday.

I was in my 30s when He-Man and She-Ra came out and I watched them religiously for a while, especially She-Ra because, well, er, um, you know.

LOL! My mother sometimes watched He-Man and She-Ra with me, when I was growing up. She had to, since she was taking care of me anyway. That was when my mother wasn't going to night classes and had my aunts and grandparents babysit me.
