How's it going my gumdrops? How are you liking the latest scenery? Yesterday I changed it to have more feminine qualities. I feel that It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns' current background reflects the name of the site with a sarcastically humorous tone; It's like My Little Pony meets snark.
Here's the burning question: Can you read the font?
I purposely chose a lighter turquoise font color to coordinate with the patterns and because a darker color would better suit a bright and pastel pink scenery. Someone complained about the original turquoise shade, leading me to change it to hot pink.
Then, I changed the hot pink font color to a darker turquoise. This current shade of turquoise is a lot better and easier to read the blogs. I've been wanting to use this current background for the last 2 1/2 years and I am just now using it. Hopefully, everyone agrees with this font color and can read it against this current scenery. Otherwise, I will have to completely change the color, AGAIN.
Aside from changing It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns' latest appearance, I have been trying to do more of my own "social networking" offline. I contacted our local library. I wanted to see, if it's possible to do some type of "cross-promotion" or to have the library spread the word about It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns.
Hopefully, the library's director won't be traumatized by the content on this website or witnessing my "rough around the edges" personality through my blogs. Those who have visited and/joined It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns throughout the last 2 1/2 years, already know that the content is uncensored.
Regardless if it's the music, animation, my blogs, or the samples of my short stories published on my "Horror" page, everything is free and uncensored. Since the time of being a teenager, I have always been against censorship. That was years before my radio show days.
Whenever I had the opportunity to occupy the Safe Harbor timeslot, I made use of it. I also aired complete albums uncensored, which was fantastic.
Speaking of music, it's that time of the week again; Today is Song Saturday. We revisit the Industrial-Electro group, Alien Vampires. Nearly 2 years ago, I shared 2 of their songs for Song Saturday.
Song Saturday: Alien Vampires (2014)
During the time of Halloween, I shared some of Alien Vampires' music, when I created my own Adult Scare Music Playlist thread on Adult Swim's message board. Honestly, it was the funnest time I ever had, since the time of joining Adult Swim.
I am still amazed that our main moderator ALLOWED me to share uncensored music from various music genres and sub-genres. It's not as if I was ever a favorite on Adult Swim.
Just so you know, I am sharing only 5 of Alien Vampires' songs for today. Most of their songs for today's block are from their latest album, Drag You To Hell.
Because it was difficult trying to upload the last 2 songs for today's Song Saturday block, I shared YouTube links going directly to the songs "Lock It" and "You Rule, I Cum." Anyway, here is today's Song Saturday.
1) Alien Vampires "Rave To The Grave" No One Here Gets Out Alive (2007)
2) Alien Vampires "All The Fakes Must Die" Drag You To Hell (2015)
3) Alien Vampires "Sworn To The Lust" Drag You To Hell (2015)
4) Alien Vampires "Lock It" Drag You To Hell (2015)
